Work and Volunteer Record
Teaching: Lindsay worked as the administrator of a daycare center, and as a fifth grade teacher in the public school system prior to full time mothering.
Volunteer: During her full time mothering years, Lindsay spent much time in the volunteer mode, usually connected to whatever phase of life the children were in. She as treasurer of the PTCO for several years, co-chaired the annual silent auction for the school, and was President of the Swim Team. She spent five years as a Patient Representative at Children's Hospital and was also active in the Arapahoe County Chapter for Children's-the fund raising arm of the hospital. She served as Area Coordinator for the Girl Scouts of America and as a troop leader. She ran the magazine sale at West Middle School, setting new sales
records two years in a row and was also on the Board. More recently, she
served a three year term on the Vestry of her church, served as President of
the Daughters of the King and is currently a Mentor of an Education for
Ministry group at that church.
Real Estate Sales: After serving as Bob's assistant, Lindsay obtained her real estate
license in 1993. She and Bob now work together as a team at Cherry Creek
Realtors. Lindsay holds a RRC designation (Referral and Relocation
Certification from the Women's council of Realtors. She has also obtained
her GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) and her ABR (Accredited Buyer's
Representative) designations. She is currently a candidate for the CRS
(Certified Residential Specialist). Working in the South Metro Denver
suburbs is a natural, as she live and raised her family there.
Personal
Lindsay lived in Scottsville, New York (a suburb of Rochester) and in Dover, New Jersey, and attended college in Glassboro, New Jersey. She is the oldest of a large, rowdy and very loving family of eight children, most of whom still reside on the east coast. Immediately after earning her BA in 1971, she married Bob and moved
to his home in Florida. Bob's career took them from Florida to Cleveland
and, finally, Denver. Their oldest daughter, April, a graduate of Cherry
Creek High School, Emory University and Emory School of Medicine, is a
Resident Physician at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. Their Younger
daughter, Tina, a graduate of Littleton High School and the Colorado School
of Healing Arts, is an ACE Certified Personal trainer and a Certified Massage
therapist in Denver. Lindsay and Bob are active members of St. Gabriel the
Archangel Episcopal Church in Cherry Hills Village where Lindsay serves as a
Chalice Minister, Lay Eucharistic Minister, Acolyte and Lector. Lindsay
enjoys sewing, reading and the needle arts in her rare moments off.
Lindsay's husband of 25+ years, Bob, is licensed as a Real Estate Broker and they work together as a team in the same business.
